1. Information We Collect and How It Is Used

📄 Page Content (DOM Data)

When you submit an automation or research prompt in the side panel, the extension analyzes the structural elements (HTML DOM) of the current active webpage to execute the requested actions — such as finding buttons, input fields, or extracting requested text. This data is processed in real-time and is never stored or transmitted beyond the immediate task execution.

💬 User Prompts

Prompts typed into the side panel are processed by Shopno AI backend or your configured AI provider solely to fulfill the requested task. Prompts are not logged, stored, or used for advertising purposes.

🔑 License Information

Your license key is verified against our authorization server (shopno.dpdns.org) to validate your active subscription. Only the license key string is transmitted — no personal data is sent during verification.

⚙️ User Settings

Your preferences (selected AI model, language, max steps) are saved locally on your device using Chrome's chrome.storage API. These settings never leave your browser.

🖱️ User Activity

The extension records clicks, scrolls, and text inputs only during active automation tasks that you explicitly initiate. This data is used in real-time to execute your requested actions and is not stored or transmitted after the task completes.

We do not share your data with third parties except in the following limited cases:

• AI Processing: When you send a prompt, the page context and your instruction are sent to the configured AI provider (Shopno AI cloud or your local Ollama server) to generate a response. No data is retained by the AI provider after processing.
• License Verification: Your license key is verified against our server. Only the key string is checked — no browsing data or personal information is transmitted.

• tabs & tabGroups: To detect the active page and manage multi-tab automation tasks.
• sidePanel: To provide the chat interface alongside your browser.
• storage: To save your settings and license status locally.
• scripting: To inject automation scripts into pages for clicking, typing, and scrolling.
• declarativeNetRequest: To adjust headers for local AI servers (Ollama on localhost).
• Host permissions (<all_urls>): To allow automation on any website the user chooses to work with.

We take reasonable measures to protect your data:

• All communication with our servers uses HTTPS encryption.
• License keys are stored securely in Chrome's local storage.
• The extension only activates when you explicitly interact with the side panel — it never runs in the background without your knowledge.

Shopno Browser Agent is not directed at children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
